কুমিল্লায় চলছে শেষ মুহূর্তের প্রতিমা তৈরির কাজ

আর মাত্র কয়েকদিন পর হিন্দু সম্প্রদায়ের ধর্মীয় উৎসব সরস্বতী পূজা। জ্ঞানের দেবীর আগমনকে ঘিরে এখন ব্যস্ত সময় পার করছেন প্রতিমা তৈরির কারিগররা। দিনরাতে সমানতালে সৃষ্টিশীল সরস্বতী প্রতিমা তৈরির কাজ করে চলছে প্রতিমা কারিগররা। এ ছাড়াও বিভিন্ন মন্দিরে প্রতিমা তৈরির কাজ প্রায় শেষের পথে। তবে এখন বাকি রয়েছে প্রতিমার গায়ে রংতুলির আঁচড়ের কাজ। 

এদিকে সার্বজনীন এই উৎসবকে সফল করতে স্থানীয় প্রশাসন, রাজনৈতিক দল, জনপ্রতিনিধিসহ এলাকাবাসীর সহযোগিতা কামনা করেছেন স্থানীয় পূজা উদযাপন কমিটি। নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা নিশ্চিত করেছে পুলিশ। 

কুমিল্লায় বিভিন্ন প্রতিমা তৈরির কারখানায় কাজ করছেন বিভিন্ন শিল্পীরা। 

কুমিল্লায় কাত্যায়নী কালী বাড়িতে গিয়ে দেখা যাচ্ছে যে সেখানে কাজ করছেন কুমিল্লার বিজয়পুর থেকে আগত শিল্পী মধু পাল। তিনি বলেন যে , বিক্রয় ভাল চলছে। 

তাছাড়া কুমিল্লার সিটি করপোরশেন এলাকার সালাউদ্দিন এর পাশে শ্রী শ্রী কালিগাছতলা কালি মন্দিরে বিক্রমপুর থেকে আগত শিল্পী রমেশ পাল প্রতিমা তৈরিতে ব্যস্ত। তার সাথে কথা বলে জানা যায় যে, প্রতিমা বিক্রয় আগের থেকে বেড়েছে।
